AccidentallyTexan January Book Challenge

AccidentallyTexan January 2013 Books Challenge.
Hah! Now I have a new challenge.
Reading books.
I was trying to get rid stuffs and I found these books.
Sure I bought these books sometimes ago.
Where? Oh… at Goodwill probably. Or at some garage sales.
Since I learned how to spell my ABC correctly and read too
I have been fascinated by books.
I grow ups in a country. Rice field.
Did I mention my dad used to be a trainer for Water Buffalo?
Well … here in East Texas, I guess it is like someone with expertise of
Training a horse for rodeo or other sport.
Back to the books …
I found lots of books. I don’t even remember I have them.
May be I bought them last year at the Library Spring Sales.
I decided that I am going to read these books for the month of January.
Too ambitious? May be. But I call it the motivation.
Found books. Motivated to read. Hah!

Sam Houston. The Tallest Texan. By William Johnson.
Darling hubby took me to Sam Houston Museum last year.

The Yearling. A novel by Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings.
The first year I came over here we watched The Yearling with our grandsons
We had fun. Our youngest was so fascinated with the movie.
We had great time together. I think they stay overnight. I make them banana pancake the next day. They are into computer games now. No more movie and stay over.

The American Cowboy in Life and Legend. By Bart McDowell.
Texas is where all the Cowboys are … I guess. No? Yes?
When I found out more about the American Cowboy I will share with you’ll: )

I know. I know these are old books. Not very very old books. But still old books.
I think it is just appropriate that I read these books. Since I live here in Texas. East Texas. That is. I better get going. I just made me Homemade Laundry Detergent.
You think I am busy? Yes I have to start getting busy. This cold winter really killing me.
You will say the same thing too if you were born and raise up in a country with summer practically the whole year. January 1st till December 31st. Yes I misses the sunny warm weather but I think I misses the food more then anything else. I got to go. I got to go, now.
