Betty Crocker's Cookbook

The future starts today, not tomorrow.
- Pope John Paul II

Went down town this morning.
I wanted to go to Hobby Lobby but I end up at one of the few trifty-store.
As usual. I will end up at the book section.
Why do I need to buy more books?
Didn't I have enough of them already?
I haven't read "any" of those books I bought last year.
I am always have a soft spot for books.
I do not know why.
I think I am "unofficially" a book collector.
Well.
What do you call a person who will buy books with specific name or brand?
Just like you collect stamps or old postcard.
I have been buying Betty Crocker's cook books.
I have small book. Big book. Fancy book. Mostly in red.
Red is Betty Crocker's signature color I suppose.
But no, I have some of Betty Crocker's not in red.
A friend gave me and darling hubby a brand new cookbook for our wedding.
A Betty Crocker's cookbook that is.
I think I left it back home.
Or may be I have it here with me.
I used the book alot before I came to East Texas.
I find out that I can substitute all purpose flour with Self-Raising Flour.
I never like the taste of baking soda somehow.
So, Better Crocker's cookbook.
I bought two today.
99 cents and $1.99.
I think now I have enough cookbook.
I can start cooking.
Wait.
I bought another cookbook too.
The Working Wives' (salaried or otherwise) Cook Book.
By Theodora Zavin and Freda Stuart.
I am so looking forward to discovered all the delicious recipes.

First... I promised darling hubby last night I am going to make him
Banana Oatmeal Cookies.
I am not sure if he is going to like it.
I know he likes oatmeal.
Well... it is raining outside.
I am cozy inside.
I better get start with my cookies.
Then I can do some reading while the cookies is baking.
The future starts today (right now), not tomorrow said Pope John Paul II.
So lets get busy with cooking : )
