Sam Houston, The Tallest Texan

I touch the future.
I teach.
- Christa McAuliffe

I am full time housewife.
No maid. No helper.
Darling hubby are a great helper, all the time.
He wash dishes. He dry the laundry.
He cooks when I am not feeling good.
He make the best BBQ ever.
So. I am a wife. Stay in the house all day.
That qualify me to be a housewife.
I wonder what the other Texan housewife doing.
I know some ... well they are all retired.
I work and travel alot before I married my darling hubby.
When I came here even my friends was worry if I am going to be alright.
When I was at school taking my degree I stayed in a Dormed with other girls.
I seem to can't convince them that I am a "country girl".
Of course I am a country girl. What do you call a girl whose parents are farmer?
Farm girl? My parents live in the country and I used to remember our home more like a zoo.
My parents raise chickens, ducks, goose, dogs, cats, water buffalo.
Did I mention my dad was a "water buffalo whisperer" hahhaha cute.
Alright, so I am a country girl, and I ironed all my clothes, even my t-shirt and bedsheets.
Not now. When I was at school. I go to bed at 11pm and wake ups at 7am.
I still have the same routine.
I can't work much at night.
I can't stay in bed longer then 8am.
My darling hubby said, I get cranky if I wake up early.
I am just the opposite. I get cranky if I get up late.
Funny huh.
Well... what exactly we are rumbling about today.
Oh yes... me and darling hubby live in the country.
The first year I came here I brought home a milking cow.
He wants me to learn to milk a cow. I never did. He end up milking the cow everyday.
We had gallon and gallon of milk everyday.
Fresh milk cream is super delicious on your cup of coffee.
Darling hubby even made some butter out of them milk.
I actually wants to have some goats but he is not fond of the idea.
Then the cow have to go. No no ... we didn't sell the cow. We just have to return where she belong.
We raise some chickens and ducks and goose and guineas.
When we live in the country it seem that everybody have the same kind of animals they raise.
But nope ... one of the neighbour not very fond of the idea of them guineas of course.
My darling hubby saw him red handed shooting the guineas with BB Gun.
It is just means.
One time he calls the sheriff because the cow went over to his place.
and what, one time he cut some trees and damaged the fence ( our fence ) and didn't fix it
he darling hubby end up fixing it himself
of course that is not a very nice either.
no wonder my darling hubby get petrified when I said i am going to give the neighbor some
cookies.
I just want to be nice. Being neighbourly.
Well... this is no long the country living it used to be.
Isn't that sad.

Actually I just want you to know that I being a full time housewife
will be teaching a bunch of 1st grader next week.
Teaching is touching the future.
I pray that we will all have a great time learning and spending time together.

Have a wonderful day to all the East Texan Wives.
